All about Ms.Richards...
I have had the pleasure of teaching first grade for 5 exciting years in Englewood, New Jersey, seven years at Cherry Hill School, and two years at Roosevelt. My degrees include a Bachelor Degree of Science with a major in Elementary Education and a Master Degree of Science in Educational Technology.
Throughout my teaching experience I have come across many diverse learners and challenging classroom environments. My main concern has always been bringing success to each student in my classroom to the best of my ability, and challenging each student to exceed even their own expectations. In this ever changing world of education I explore and infuse technology in my everyday lessons, and integrate mindfulness practices to reduce student stress and promote positive learning experiences.
Outside of the classroom I spend a lot of time hiking with my pup. I also spend a lot of time volunteering with various nonprofit organizations to help keep our lands clean and get more kids outside to enjoy all the beauty nature has to offer.
I am thrilled to be teaching Fifth Grade at Roosevelt Elementary School and look forward to meeting you all soon!
I strive to keep open communication with parents/guardians to support the success of my students so please feel free to email me at the following address with any questions or concerns:
